After Bev had seen her photos, Anna chatted to her about her 'Embrace Your Body' portrait session, and how she found her boudoir experience.
It's fair to say that Bev didn't arrive brimming with confidence!
How were you feeling about your body, before your portrait session?
"I didn't like it at all. And I even said to Robin when I got here, "don’t take any photos of this middle bit", and I said "And Anna’s made my buy these pants, and I don't like them because it shows my bum off."
But yeah, now it’s totally different story."
How were you feeling, before the session, on the day itself?
"Nervous, because I just thought you’d never be able to get a good photo of me. I thought Robin will take one look at me and run a mile"
How were you feeling about the session by the end of the day?
"Oh, completely relaxed, I felt like I could pose and be a proper model!"
How were you feeling about coming back to see your photos?
"Even more nervous, because I honestly didn't think you'd have got a decent image of me, and then to see a wall full of them, it’s like ‘wow, amazing’. "
How are you feeling about yourself, now that you've seen your photos?
"Oh, over the moon, excited!
I want to go and show everybody!
I think they’re brilliant."
The Embrace Your Body Project is all about empowering women to love themselves and their bodies, as they are, right now.
It's about embracing our bodies, whatever flaws we may think we have, and accepting ourselves.
It's about showing that nobody is perfect, but that we are all beautiful in our imperfections.
And it's about sharing that experience with other women, to help them on their journey to body confidence.
