I know you’re feeling nervous

Here's the thing - nervous is normal here. You're doing something outside of your comfort zone, and you want to trust that all will go well, but it's a leap of faith.

I can tell you as many times as I like that you're going to have a great time, but really, it's better if you listen to someone else.

I would never have ever thought I would do something like this, it is so far out of my comfort zone!!
Put me in neon, give me some glow sticks on stage in front of lots of people any day and I don't bat an eyelid, but have my photo taken, let alone in my undies, never!!
But I had a massive confidence smash and lost my glow, so on a mad whim I sent in an application for a free session, never thought I'd get a call.  Oops, I did!

The chat I had with Anna before was ace, really let me into what would happen, what I needed to bring with me and to relax and enjoy it!!

My session went really well. Holly, who did my make up and hair was ace and made me feel almost relaxed - even discovered our joint love of Clubbercise.

Robin was great and after a while I did relax and I even started to enjoy it, lol, although I will never nail standing in heels.

The time flew. So I went back for my photos thinking hopefully one or two will look good ...OMG!! That slideshow is something else!
I still think back and think "Really? How did you do that?!!"

It has had a huge impact on how I now see myself, and actually, I look pretty good! Hubby's face was a picture when I brought them home!!

So if you are thinking "Hmmm, maybe I fancy doing this"...DO IT!!! Take time for yourself and believe in you being ace and take the leap.

A massive thank you very much!! You got me glowing again!!

Love it! its’ so important to have “Me time” and these memories are so important. Doing something that scares us but we do it anyway is giving us power and confidence. As a full time photographer in my previous life I love imagery. Thanks for the post!
